SHEI Magazine

 

Founded in 1999 as an Asian pop culture magazine, SHEI is the only officially recognized fashion, arts, and culture publication at the University of Michigan. They publish a bi-annual print magazine, along with SHEI Digital, a free, monthly digital magazine.

 

Social Media Manager — 2019 - 2021

Tasked with scheduling content, creating graphics, making videos, and writing copy about industry news, digital campaigns, and promotion of SHEI Digital and Print content for our Instagram, Facebook, & TikTok accounts.

Fashion Shoot Director 2017-2019

In charge of brainstorming, planning, and executing photoshoots for SHEI Digital. Responsible for sourcing clothing, contacting models, and coordinating with photo, video, and fashion teams to execute shoots.

As the Social Media Manager, I worked on major rebranding efforts and used engagement metrics to optimize content performance and brand alignment. During my time as SHEI’s Social Media Manager, our impressions, following, and engagement grew by approximately 500% percent, 200%, and 250% respectively.
